+ The background

In 2012, Micah sat on a bench swing out side of Gillepie Hall in McPherson, Kansas and an idea hit him and he had to write it down. Three months and three to five hours a day of writing later, Burdens of Draco became a novel of 300 pages. Six years, 15 edits, 12 songs, and a whole lot trial and error later the novel became a possible comic project.

Today, through a lot of humbling experiences I have come to a great place where Charissa and Micah are producing quality work at a high level and good speed. My goal has continued to be the same thing the whole journey: create an amazing story.

Micah now travels and speaks at churches, schools, comic book stores, and other venues sharing with teens and adults. He speaks about the value of creativity and encourages them to take the next step and be bold in what they may be scared to do.

+ The Plan

How do you make an amazing story? Well, besides hard work, it takes a detailed plan and several opinions of people you trust to tear all the weaknesses of your story away. Burdens of Draco will be 15 issues, the first being "Burdens of Draco: The Birth of Good and Evil" which came out summer of 2017. The rest of the issues as well as the the first will be available digitally and physically.

What can we expect? Expect to have an exciting story that builds a world you want to watch grow and leaves you wanting more. The first issue will be 23 pages of awesomeness. Want more? We believe in the story and we believe the only way to make true fans of something in such a competitive market is to find a cheap way to get it into their hands. That's why every issue will have a cheaper digital option. 

+ The Rest

How do I pay for the issues? It's already paid for...YES, you heard right. All fifteen issues are paid for and we require no funding and will not be asking you for any of your hard earned money besides the cost of buying each issue. The artwork and promotion comes from out budget, not yours.

What does this mean for you? This means that each issue it will be up to you to share this awesome story with others to spread the word and make it known. Share it on social media, buy it for a friend, do whatever you can to make it big so that when it's all said and done you get the best possible printing of the book as well as thousands of others.
